Our sincerest sympathy to all family members. Karen and I have been friends for over 70 years. School days, Girl Scouts, card club, Karen and excellent player. Rest In Peace, dear friend.

We became friends and next door neighbors when your mother moved into her "Retirement Home" approximately 4 years ago.
During the past 4 years I met all Karen's daughters, her son, several grand, and a few great grand children.
Karen LOVED to be surrounded by family/friends.
Karen was an excellent cook! I ate many Christmas, birthday meals, snacks and various dinners on her deck! I can not guess how many cups of coffee and other liquid refreshments have been drank on that deck!
Karen could work her HUGE book of crosswords, entertain neighbors, and carry on two or three separate comversations at the same time! She left MANY GREAT memories on that deck she LOVED and used DAILY! Her spirit will always be seen sitting in her favorite spot! Every time I look at that deck I see Karen sitting there! It is like a permanent photo etched in my mind!
I have ALWAYS considered myself VERY LUCKY to have GREAT neighbors when blessed with same! Karen rates right up there among the top!
While Karen left us in on this earth, she also left a great Legacy as a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her. But she will NEVER be forgotten!
Go rest in peace Karen; your work on earth is done.
So sorry for your loss your mother was a wonderful woman she was always kind and friendly to everyone she met and will be greatly missed by many.
