Karen Antoinette Forde's Obituary
Karen Antoinette Forde 64, of Grand Island, passed away on July 13, 2011. She was born in Barbados and moved here from there in 2009. She was a Seventh Day Adventist, a cosmetologist, and a cake designer. She is survived by her husband George Clifton Forde, they had been married for 35 years, her sons; Michael M. (Diana) Forde of St. James Barbados, Derrick Forde of St. Michael, Barbados and Ricardo (Lisa) Forde of Warner’s Gardens, Christ Church, Barbados, her sister Cathy Frances Jackman (Melvin) Parquet of Grand Island, Florida, her brothers Mark Ferguson of St. Michael’s, Barbados, Alston Ferguson of St. James, Barbados and Cameron Ferguson of St. Michael’s, Barbados, her grandchildren, Dillon, Makai, Dana and Faith Forde and her nieces Dr. Charmain Jackman and Cherine Smith. Memorial services were held on Saturday July 16th at 5 PM in the North Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 41339 Emeralda Island Road, Leesburg, Florida. Memorial services were held August 4, 2011 in Barbados.
