Joyce Neely Gooch's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Neely Gooch, of Mount Dora, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she moved to the Central Florida area in 1965 from Arcadia. She and her husband, Burt, were owners of Fisherman's Bait & Tackle Shop in Eustis. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church of Fruitland Park and belonged to the Busy Bees of Fruitland Park. She was pre-deceased by her husband Burt, who passed away in 1975 and by two children, Arnold and Marjorie. She is survived by her children Gary Neely (Naomi) of Davenport, FL; Paul Neely (Rayanne) of Flat Rock, MI; Cynthia McRae (Tim) of Leesburg, FL; Kirk Neely (Terri) of Ponte Vedra, FL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Funeral services were held Thursday, November 5, 2009 in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel, Eustis. Rev. Mike Fordham officiated. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis. The family requests memorials to Kiva of Mount Dora, 505 E. 9th Ave., Mount Dora, FL 32757
