Joseph Brian Sikkema's Obituary
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Joseph Brian Sikkema, age 28, our most beloved son, grandson, brother, family member and friend went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Those who knew Joey lost a shining light in their lives.
He is survived by his parents John Sikkema and Gayle Sikkema, grandparents, Audrey Sikkema and Rodney and Anna Kosters, his brothers Steven and Jake Sikkema, aunts, uncles, cousins, his theatre family and many friends.
Joseph was predeceased by his grandfather, Fred Sikkema and brother, Daniel Sikkema.
Joseph was born on April 14, 1991 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. He attended Eastern Christian School. He moved to Central Florida in 2002 where he continued his education at Mount Dora Bible School, Eustis High School, and Valencia State College where he majored in dance. Joey’s true home was the stage. He performed in many community theatres, high school productions, dinner theatres, amusement parks and Universal Studios.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Joey’s struggles on earth are over, he is singing and dancing with the angels.
