Joretta A. Tackett's Obituary
Joretta A. Tackett 75, of Eustis, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was born in Muncie, Indiana and moved to Eustis in 1957 from Morehead, Kentucky. She was a Baptist. Joretta was a 1961 graduate of Eustis High School and graduated from the University of Central Florida, she had been a member of the Eustis Junior Women's Club and a volunteer cheerleading coach with the Eustis Youth Football Program. She had worked in local banks and financial businesses. Joretta also worked as a substitute teacher at Eustis High School. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind including; her husband Bob Tackett, her daughter; Jennifer Caprio of Wildwood, her brother William L. "Bill" Dailey of Boca Raton, Florida, grandchildren; Joseph Schmidt, Courtney Schmidt, Jenna Schmidt, her great granddaughter; Joselyn Schmidt and her former husband Jules Caprio of Homosassa, Florida. Joretta also leaves behind her pets; Bandit and Elle and 10 adopted feral cats that will be looking for a loving home. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Tuesday, February 20th from 4 until 7 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, February 21st at 2 PM with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
