Jon E. Roller's Obituary
Jon E. Roller 74, of Eustis, passed away on March 2, 2012. Born in 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Jon was raised in Reiffton, Pennsylvania with his three sisters and brother. He graduated from Mt. Penn High School in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1955, Jon entered the U.S. Army soon after high school, stationed in Iceland, and soon after that married Nancy Ann Gerth. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. He began his career working for Sears for 25 years and then pursued an opportunity in Mall Management. In 1985, Jon moved with his family to Eustis, FL. working for General Growth Company,where he managed Lake Square Mall in Leesburg, Fl until retiring in 1999. Jon thoroughly enjoyed everything that Central Florida had to offer and traveling with his family and friends. Most of all Jon was a dedicated family man who enjoyed time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Nancy; they were married for 53 years. Also surviving are his sons; Mark A. (Doree) Roller of Wayne, Pennsylvania, Eric S. (Beth) Roller of Bath, Pennsylvania and Brett (Angela) Roller of Orlando, Florida, brother Timothy Roller of Jacksonwald, Pennsylvania, sisters Lynda Lynch of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Judith Wool of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania and Susan Keuscher of Jacksonwald, Pennsylvania, grandchildren Jamie Young, Taylor Young, Justin Roller, Alison Roller, Chloe Roller and Caitlyn Roller. Jon was predeceased by his daughter Wendy Young in 2008.The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service was held in Bethlehem Pennsylvania on Saturday, March 10th, at 1 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. 2344 Center Street Bethlehem PA 18017.
