John J. "Jack" Chisholm's Obituary
John J. “Jack” Chisholm 85, of Eustis, passed away in Oviedo on October 31, 2010. He was born in Pennsylvania and moved here from Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania in 1965. Jack was a former owner of Eustis Block and Supply, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora, V.F.W. Post 8087 of Eustis, a Past President of the Eustis Chamber of Commerce, and a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during WWII on the USS Plunkett. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cecial, his children, Daniel (Gwen) Chisholm of Oviedo, Thomas (Sharon) Chisholm of Sanford and Barbara Wilson of Mount Dora, his grandchildren, Melissa Felton, Bradley Wilson, Michelle Chisholm, Megan Evans and Joshua Chisholm, his great grandchildren, Ryley, Michael, Caleb and Chloe, and his brother Daniel (Pat) Chisholm of Ormond Beach, Florida. The family received friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Eustis on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 1 until 3 PM; there was a Wake Service at 2 PM. Mass of the Resurrection was held in St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora at 9 AM on Monday November 8, 2010. Entombment with Military Honors followed in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
