John Robert Purcell's Obituary
John Robert Purcell 94, of Tavares, passed away on November 3, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, John moved to Tavares in 2015 after having resided in Casselberry for 40 years. He was a Christian and a Veteran having served in the United States Coast Guard in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a retired electrician and worked for RCA in Cape Canaveral for many years. John was predeceased by his wife Janet in 2014 and will be deeply missed by his daughters; Janet (Edward) Bunker of Folsom, California and Joanne (Ronald) Murphy of Mount Dora, Florida, his grandsons; Christopher Eric Murphy of Charleston, South Carolina and Christopher John Bunker of El Monte, California and his sister Mary Ferlazzo on Connecticut.
The final resting place will be Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
