John B. Metzger 80, of Eustis, passed away on March 18, 2018. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, and moved here in 1981 from Cambridge, Ohio. John was Catholic and a retired insurance agent. He is survived by his sons; John B Read Obituary
John was one of my best friends when we lived in Cambridge, Oh. We worked and played together. Our families spent time at each other's homes. The last time I saw John was when he visited me in Holiday, Fl. a few years prior to his passing. His younger son called me with the news. I was sorry to hear the news. I have only good memories of John.
Mr John was a long time customer of mine. I saw him once a month every month. I always saved him for the end of my run, knowing I'd be there for at least an hour, lol. We talked just about everything and he always managed to make me laugh ! I will miss you my friend , but I'll always smile when I think about you.

John was a coworker of my father's and Godfather to one of my brothers. I have only fond memories of John whenever he would visit our family. He could tell a story that would have an entire room belly-laughing. Very saddened to learn of his passing!
