John Carl Kaler's Obituary
John Carl Kaler of Bushnell, Florida, formerly of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years. He was born in Independence, Missouri to the late Elmer Arthur and Ruby (Spragge) Kaler. John worked as a Forest Ranger in Missouri for several years. He moved to Harrisonville, Missouri and went to work as a police officer and retired as Police Chief. He moved to Florida 40 years ago. John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eustis. John was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Arthur Kaler, Jr. and Donald E. Kaler. He is survived by his wife, Lanell Crawford-Kaler; sister, Mary Covert of Wellington, Missouri and his brother, Lester Kaler of Maryville, Missouri.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held in his honor in the near future at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eustis. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
