Well today is a summer day that just turned very sad. I had no idea that Mrs. Oliver had passed. Joan was a mom that words cannot describe ,she was one that kids flocked too an were excited too see. When you walked into the open house she would feed you ,make you laugh and give you brutal honesty about life, which was actually refreshing and great as a young man especially. She loved her family and would fight for them to the end. I type this through tears of thinking how she was a part of some of the most fun and wonderful times of my life .There is only one Joan .I loved her and her family very much.To Walt, Shane and Corey , I am truly sorry for you loss, I wish i had known.

I just found out today about Joan and was devastated to hear of her passing. She was a sweet, vivacious ball of fire, and I always looked forward to seeing her at the salon. She was so knowledgable about skin care and was so proud of her family. She use to talk about how much she loved her husband and it was always so touching. She had that unique ability to connect with people immediately and make you feel so special.
I will miss her energy and crazy stories and her laugh. She will be so missed. My deepest sympathies to her family.
My deepest prayers and sympathy goes out to Joan's family. I knew Joan through her work, I had been going to see her for facials for over a year. She helped me completely change my problem skin. She gave me such valuable advice, and I will always be thankful to her for that. She was more than just a aesthetician, she became a friend who I could share just about anything with. I looked forward to going in to see her to laugh and share stories. She made her clients feel so comfortable. There wasnt a visit where she wouldn't make me laugh. My heart breaks knowing I will never get to have another conversation with her. Joan will be deeply missed by many.

Joan was a wonderful Aesthetician and taught me so much about the skin. She provided me with skincare when no one else wanted to--or thought they could-- heal my problem skin. She helped me when I felt hopeless, cared, and guided me toward being a successful Aesthetician. I will always be thankful to her for changing my life--and will always remember her on the anniversary of her death because it falls on my birthday. To Joan's husband and sons: My heart goes out to you during this tragic time of mourning and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Joan really was a remarkable, smart, and caring woman who will always be remembered for her strong personality and drive to help and nurture those around her.
We wish to express our deepest sympathy. Joan was our first cousin. Her father and our father were brothers. We grew up in Carrollton, Michigan just like Joan did. We have not seen her in many years, but will cherish the memories we have as young cousins. Take care of yourselves and God Bless You.
