We were sister-in-laws and very closeyears ago before you moved to Georgia and I to New England. How sad I am to learn you are no longer here to enjoy your older son Al and his family, but you have gone to be with the Lord, and the younger son Todd you so tragically lost. His buddy Rob went Heaven too in 2006. I always thought I would find you again, and we would go out and have fun as in years gone by when we lived together at the Ranch. I regret I never saw you again after 1995, but have often thought of the wonderful person you were and the deep friendship we had for 14 years when I was a part of your family. May you rest in Peace. You led a good life on Earth. I hope that I shall here from your son. Such a fine young man with his distinguished naval service during the Gulf War. He must be fortiesh now.Al,please email me. Best wishes Flick##imported-begin##Flick Getford##imported-end##
Ms. Joan was the director of the bridges of hope when I was there as a seventeen year old. I hope she knows how much she helped me - through her words, wisdom, and example. Her memory still inspires me - and always will inspire me - to do my best and to appreciate every moment I have. Thank you Ms. Joan, I'm so sad that I didn't get to say goodbye to you. Thank you for being so strong and brave and intelligent.##imported-begin##kathrine whelan##imported-end##

Joan you went through a lot in the past few years. But now it's over. And you are with your family that left this earth already. I know you were glad to see them all. And I'm sure Todd was there waiting for you. May God Bless you. And we just have to know now there is no more pain and HEARTACHE for you to deal with. We will miss you here. But we will see you again one day. Now my heart has to go out to Sharon##imported-begin##Patty Bedgood##imported-end##
Sharon, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. She will be missed. You are forever in my thoughts and prayers. It breaks my heart to see you in this pain, losing Carl so soon, and now Joan. You are a wonderful person and always there for anyone in need of anything. I admire you for your strength and courage. I love you my sister, my friend, and will always be by your side. May God bless you in your time of sorrow.##imported-begin##Judy Mikell##imported-end##
Mr Foster,I am sorry for your loss. It was suggested to me that I contact you through this site, so I apologize if you find it is inappropriate. I wanted to inquire if you had plans to sell the small cabin Carl lived in? If so, please contact me at the email address above.##imported-begin##Carl Christmann##imported-end##
Joan or Miss Joan as she was known to so many, was a remarkable person. She was one of the kindest and most generous persons in the world. She was loving and very, very modest. She gave my daughter back to me, and gave me my life back. I will never be able to repay the debt of gratitude of her, except to do as she would have wished, to pay it forward to others. In that way, her legacy will go on and on. My deepest condolences to her family and to all her dear friends who will miss her so much.##imported-begin##John F. Sampson##imported-end##
