I met Jesus in elementary. I remember in 4th grade after lunch as we were lining up to go back to class, he showed me his notebook that had drawings. I told him how good his drawings were and saw his face light up. I moved away from Eustis but whenever I was in town I would reach out to him. I am grateful to have gotten the chance to ride on the back of his motorcycle, the heel of my shoe melted off, luckily someone stopped us on the way there and told us. When we got to the restaurant we were both laughing as I was limping going inside the restaurant. I am grateful I got to go with him to Applebee's and have a drink with him. He was always so kind and told me he treated girls nice because it's how he would want his sisters to be treated. He had a heart of gold. I wish I could travel to his viewing to say one last goodbye. I send flowers that I hope he would have liked in my place. I am sorry for your loss.
