Jessica Rose Smith's Obituary
Jessica Rose Smith, age 35, of Eustis passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 with her loving husband of 9 years, Christopher Smith and their beloved daughter, Hailey. She was born in Warren, Ohio and moved to this area in April of 1985 from there. Jessica graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. She joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in October of 2015 and was most recently working as a Classification Specialist. Jessica was an active member of Life Point Church, of Eustis, FL. She enjoyed Writing poetry, going to the shooting range and most of all being a mother. Jessica was a loving mother and wife that loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her 11-year-old son, Hunter Smith; father, Ashley H. Carpenter of Eustis; mother, Mary Catherine Carpenter of Ocala; brothers, Jason Carpenter of Orlando, Justin Carpenter of Eustis and Jerrid Carpenter of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life starting at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. After the service the family invites you to join them for food, fellowship and to share memories at Lake Eustis Church located at 315 E. Orange Ave. Eustis, FL 32726, directly across from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up for Hunter Smith's care. Checks may be made directly to Hunter Smith.
