Buddy and I played football on his front lawn on 50th street; we watched old tarzan movies, ate coconuts, climbed lots of trees - back in 1958 - what summers, what a game.##imported-begin##Steve Huff##imported-end##

I was always so excited to visit my Uncle Buddy. You were always ready to play and always had puppies!I will never forget the day I convinced you to take me hunting. I had a meltdown when you tried to actually shoot something and you made me sit in the truck by myself the rest of the day. I followed in your footsteps in becoming a P.E. teacher and a coach and I only hope that I can make the same wonderful impact on my students as you have made with yours. Love you Uncle Buddy##imported-begin##Karen Larzelere##imported-end##

My memories of Buddy..."Coach Vaughn" are mixed....as a Drivers'Ed/health teacher...he put a cardboard box over my head to keep me quiet after tests in his class....As a frieend that worked with my dad "Bob Warfield" in the late 70's he taught me about his love of hunting...and love of nature...Find Peace.....##imported-begin##Jan Warfield##imported-end##

I am so sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. I haven't seen him since high school but I have thought of him many times in the years between then and now. In 1964, he used to pick me up in the AM to give me a ride to school.##imported-begin##Bill Henderson##imported-end##
I have great memories of Buddy, especially the summer he was born. Sammie kept me informed with pictures, articles about his sailing, football and most of his ac tivites. He was very special to me.##imported-begin##Edwina Hope##imported-end##
