James W. "Butch" Potts Jr.'s Obituary
James W. “Butch” Potts Jr. 69, of Grand Island, passed away on January 2, 2013. He was born in Fort Monroe, Virginia and moved here in 2003 from Springfield, Ohio. Butch was a truck builder for International Harvester for 38 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Umatilla. He is survived by his mother, Odie Potts, of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, wife Mary, children; Tracy Potts of Sidney, Ohio, James Potts and Michael Potts, both of Springfield, Ohio and Benjamin Potts of Troy, Ohio, his sister Katherine White of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, grandchildren; Brittany, Derrick, Kendra, Ryan, Marissa and Kara. Graveside services were held in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis at 11 AM Monday, January 7th with Rev. Brooks Braswell officiating. The family requests memorials to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church, 550 Hatfield Drive, Umatilla, FL 32784.
