James H. Brannigan's Obituary
James H. Brannigan of Edgewater, Florida passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the age of 76 years. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and retired as Senior Chief after 20 years of service from 1960-1980. Jim went on to work at McDonnell Douglas, working for 18 years before retiring as Executive Director of Budget and Finance. He lived in New Smyrna, Florida for 20 years. Jim had a passion for sail boating and sailed to Key West, where he and his wife, Kathi resided for 17 years, returning to Edgewater a year ago. Jim loved motorcycles and was a member of the Old Bastards Motorcycle Club. He was also an avid reader, finishing several books per week.
He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 26 years, Kathi; sons, Joel (Karen) Andriola of Edgewater, James Martin Brannigan of New Smyrna, Brian Brannigan of New Smyrna; daughters, Courtney (James) Cox of St. Augustine, Florida and Whitney Poe of New Smyrna; siblings, Michael Brannigan, Carole Meader, Margie DiTullio and Kathy Fluckiger, all of Ohio; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
