Hubert J. "Bucky" Kemp's Obituary
Hubert J. “Bucky” Kemp of Longwood, formerly of Leesburg, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011. He was born in Fairvilla, Florida on January 31, 1934 and returned to Central Florida from Fairfax, Virginia in 2001. Bucky was employed by Virginia Concrete and was a member of Northland Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a Life Member of Sharon Lodge 327 F.& A. M. of McClain, VA., York & Scottish Rite Mason, Eustis Lodge 85 F.& A.M., Kena Temple of Fairfax, VA., Lake Co. Shrine, and the American Legion Post 180 of Vienna, VA.He is survived by his Stepsons, George McKenzie of Longwood, and Aaron M. Kemp of Parker, AZ.; his Grandchildren, James C., Stephanie A., Megan A., and Christian J. McKenzie; and Great Grandchildren, James Colby McKenzie, Casey A, and Cooper R. McKenzie and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 19th at 10 A.M. in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel, 326 E. Orange Ave., Eustis, 352-357-4193. The family received friends prior to the funeral hour.
