Hubert "Jack" Rayburn's Obituary
Hubert “Jack” Rayburn, 74, of Tavares, FL passed away in Deland on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He was born in Poulan, GA and moved to Tavares as a child in 1946. He owned and operated a lawn service company and prior to that had been a title examiner for several companies in Lake County. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army, a former Tavares Rotarian, and a volunteer fireman. He was of the Baptist faith and dedicated 41 years to helping others through Alcoholics Anonymous. Jack is survived by Linda, his wife of 49 years; his brother, Leonard, Shalimar, FL; numerous sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. A memorial service was held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel, 326 E. Orange, Eustis, FL, on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3 O’clock PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Florida Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, P.O.
