Henry Lee White's Obituary
Henry Lee White 83, of Grand Island, passed away on July 4, 2016. He was born in Magnolia, North Carolina and moved here in 2005 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Cannon Baptist Church of Philadelphia and the Longshoreman's Union. Henry was a Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. He is survived by his wife Georgia, they were married 65 years. Also surviving are his children; John (Ethel) Ammons of Philadelphia, Henrietta (Jerome) Thomas of Erdenheim, Pennsylvania, Theresa White of Philadelphia, Debra White of Leesburg, Florida and Lena (William) Richardson of Sorrento, Florida, his siblings; Bernis White of California and Mary Solice and Linda White both of Williamstown, New Jersey, fourteen grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sons; Henry Lee White Jr. in 1982 and Kenneth Ammons in 1990.
Mr. White will be taken to the Baker Funeral Home (215-763-5590) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for services and interment in Chelten Hills Cemetery.
