November 10, 1967 – October 28, 2025
Harry Ralph Childers of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 57, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Born in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, on November 10, 1967, Harry was the beloved son of Harry Childers and Stella Francisco.
Harry made Florida his home for the past 33 years and was a devoted member of Lake Eustis Christian Church. He spent 28 years working with Canteen Vending, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was a veteran of The United States Army. Outside of work, Harry enjoyed fishing and golfing, and was cherished for his playful spirit and love of laughter—often referred to affectionately as a “King Harry” by those closest to him.
He was united in marriage to Lee Page on March 9, 2002, in Kissimmee, Florida. Harry is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Jennie Eshelman Childers and James and Gladys Hensley Morris; his father Harry Childers ; his aunt Nina Smith; his uncle Terry Morris; and his niece Charlotte Page.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lee Childers; his children, Callee and Colby Childers; mother Stella Morris Francisco of Apopka, FL; his siblings, Jim Childers of Hagerstown, MD, and Melinda Petersen (Glenn) of Plano, TX; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bradley and Ashley Page of Eustis, FL; nieces and nephews Tiffany, Sheryl, Addison, Brynley, Lonnie, Austin, and Jimmy; and his dear friends Rodney and Nellie Curry of Sanford, FL.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Lake Eustis Christian Church, located at 315 E. Orange Ave., Eustis, FL. The funeral service will follow immediately at 5:00 PM. The service will include music by a bagpiper, featuring “Amazing Grace” and “Loch Lomond.”
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support Callee and Colby Childers’ college fund.
