Harold J. Blankenship's Obituary
Harold J. Blankenship, 83 of Eustis passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He was born in Falling Rock, West Virginia and moved here 1954. Mr. Blankenship retired from the Florida Department of Transportation, was a member of the F & AM Lodge 62 Sanford, Florida, and was a Veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII. He is survived by his son, Jerry Michael Blankenship of Georgia; daughters, Brenda Purvee of Eustis and Peggy Ann Brock of Orange City, brothers, Carl Begler of Orange City, and David Begler of West Virginia; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family received friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 10:00AM until the Funeral hour. Ceremonies were held at 11:00AM, with Dr. Alan Holden officiating. Masonic and Military Honors were given. Interment followed in Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida.
