Glenn Little III's Obituary
Glenn Little III passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the age of 68 years. Glenn was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania to Olive Mae and Glenn Little, Jr. He was raised in Fairmont, West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors degree in performing arts. Glenn furthered his education attending Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated with a Masters degree in applied music. In 1972, he and his wife, Pamela, moved to Florida from Parkersburg, West Virginia, living in Mount Dora, Tavares and finally settling in Lady Lake. Glenn taught at Mount Dora High School as a band director from 1972 until 1977. Glenn shifted his focus and became a Certified Financial Planner and owned and operated GP Investment Services, Inc. in Leesburg and served Lake County clients for 34 years. After closing his business, he served as a Financial Planner for Allstate in Mount Dora and Lady Lake for four years. Glenn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis and the Mount Dora F & AM – Masonic Lodge # 238. Glenn loved the outdoors, enjoying a good game of Golf, horseback riding or shooting clay pigeons. He was preceded in death by his parents. Glenn is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years, Pamela; daughters, Nancy Baris and her husband, Todd of Boynton Beach, Florida and Sherry Boulay and her husband, Brent of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Patty (Floyd) Lewis of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jenny (Jerry) Beafore of Fairmont, West Virginia; as well as two grandchildren, Elise Boulay and Benjamin Boulay.
A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. Friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to the service time. Masonic services will follow the memorial ceremony.
