Gerard K. "Rod" Lombardi Sr.'s Obituary
Gerard K. “Rod” Lombardi Sr. 60, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away on December 11, 2011. He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey and moved to Mount Dora in 2002 from Broward County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora and was a retired plumbing inspector for Broward County Florida and former Supervisor for C.M.C. Clark Plumbing Contractors in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Lombardi was a graduate of Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls New Jersey and a member of the Antique & Classic Boat Society / Sunnyland Chapter. He is survived by his wife Patricia, they have been married for 33 years. Also surviving are his children Louis Brent (Carol) Damis of Pompano Beach, Florida, Christopher John (Nicole) Damis of Coconut Creek, Florida and Gerard Kenneth (Lauren) Lombardi Jr. of North Lauderdale, Florida, his brother Joseph Lombardi of Margate, Florida, sister Lori Rebernik of Succasunna, New Jersey and his grandchildren, Christopher John Damis Jr., Nicholas Joseph Damis, Carson James Damis and Riley Elizabeth Lombardi. Memorial Services will be held in the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora at 11 AM Saturday December 17th with Dr. Thomas Jamieson officiating. There will also be a memorial service in Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale, Tuesday December 20th at 6 PM.
