Gerald Linwood "Gerry" Line's Obituary
Gerald Linwood “Gerry” Line of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 74 years. He was born in Boonsboro, Maryland. Gerry proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp. and spent 13 months in Vietnam. After the war, he returned home to his wife and son. Gerry worked as an electrician for over 20 years. He had a passion for horses and owned and operated a horse farm. He moved to Mid Florida Lakes in Leesburg in 2004 from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Gerry was a member of the Moose Lodge and the AmVets. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Gerry is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 56 years, Kathryn; son Steven Line of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; daughter, Geri Line of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; brothers, Lester Line of Hagerstown, Maryland and Ray (Pearly) Line of Hilo, Hawaii; sister, Evelyn Wooten of Baltimore, Maryland; as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
