Gene Peacock Baer's Obituary
Gene Smith Peacock Baer 93, of Eustis, passed away on January 18, 2014. She was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania and made Eustis her lifelong home. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, the Anna Miller Circle, Eustis Moose Lodge, Post 8087 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Eustis, the Eustis Historical Society and the Humane Society. She is survived by her son Bill (Shirley) Peacock of Umatilla, two grandsons; William Gene Peacock of Hartford, Connecticut and Michael Everett Peacock of Carrabelle, Florida and three great grandchildren; Haley Peacock of Connecticut, Michael Peacock of Umatilla, Florida and Isla Peacock of Connecticut. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Friday, January 24th from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be held in the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis at 11 AM Saturday, January 25th with Rev. Leon Bloder officiating. The final resting place will be Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
