To the Family,My thoughts and prayers go to each and everyone of you. I know you will miss him deeply, but as my Dad stated earlier, he is at home with God.I recollect many happy memories growing up with the Gomez family. Spending many summer vacations together and experiencing authentic Cuban dishes deliciously prepared by both Mrs. Gomez and Grandma Gomez.May God bless each and everyone of you and may the comfort of His love help you in this time of loss.##imported-begin##Brenda (Starling) Sutton##imported-end##
Galo was such a gentle soul! He brighened everyone's day with that big smile and the hearty laugh that made his belly go up and down. Always young at heart, we remember a day when he got on the kids' bike in front of the house, popped the front wheel up, and as he rode behind the evergreen at the foot of the driveway and we waited for him and the bike to emerge, we saw only the bike, as Galo had fallen off of it and was sprawled on the street laughing! We sure will miss him.##imported-begin##Isi & Frank Romanach##imported-end##

Galo was a great uncle. I will always treasure the good times growing up in Cuthbert, Ga. It was great having an uncle that was a big football hero in high school and a great dancer. You will be missed by all members of the Family. I know that you are now in a Great place surrounded by all those that went before you.##imported-begin##Olga Wood##imported-end##
