I am Disons Daughter. I reconnected with him 5 years ago. When I would speak with him, I felt as if I was talking to myself in some ways. We were alot alike. We had many of the same views and finished each others sentences. He often spoke of the regret he felt during my childhood, but I feel that was due to Geography (I live in Ohio).. I will miss not being able to talk with him. If anyone has any information or great stories of him, I would love to hear them! Dison was a dear friend to myself and my children in the 80's and early 90's.he was kind,funny,faithful.hard working and always willing to work and to help in any way he could. Dison was a dear friend to myself and my children in the 80's.My children are all grown but remember him as a good man.He was kind and funny and always faithful and ready to help if he was able.He often spoke of his daughter with love and sometimes regret.He really missed her.I think that was why he was so fond of my youngest son ,Randy, they were of similar age,he and Disons daughter.We remember him for his work at Bay Street Players and all the friendship and loyalty he showed to all of us. His snicker and funny,quirky ways were very endearing.I lost track of him in the 90's after I remarried.Rest in Peace Dison ! It has been decades since I had the privilege of working with Dison in community theatre in Florida, but the mention of his name and passing in a recent Facebook post immediately took me back to those days and the unselfish camaraderie and friendship that he provided so many of us. I expect he continued that behavior of all his life and in doing so became one of those remarkable people who do truly leave the world a better place. I remember Dison's first show with BSP was Man of La Mancha. Our immediate dilemma involved how to create the cave-like walls of the set. Dison suggested a product and technique he used for model railroads. After a little trial and error time and some modifications from miniature to large scale, the set was a success. That's just the way Dison was - he helped in whatever capacity he could. He was a kind, quiet gentleman. He will be missed.##imported-begin##Carol Walker##imported-end##
