Frank W. Harrelson's Obituary
Frank W. Harrelson, of Yalaha, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Benjamin Franklin and Mary (Ott) Harrelson. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He and his wife, Ellen, who preceded him in death in 1997, moved to Yalaha in 1993 from Marion County, FL. Frank retired from Lockhead Martin in 1993 after 35 years of service. He was a member of SAR, the Sons of the American Revolution and was Episcopalian by faith. Frank is remembered by his sons, Charles Harrelson of Longwood, FL and George A. Pidgeon of Orlando, FL; daughters, Holly O. Herrington of Orlando, FL, Lourana L. Harrelson of Ocklawaha, FL and Heather A. Johnston of Jacksonville, FL, as well as four grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, Blake and Steven and nephew, Steven Harrelson of NC. Friends were invited to gather for viewing on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 10 – 11 am. Services started at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sons of the American Revolution, 1000 S. 4th St., Louisville, KY 40203 or www.sarfoundation.org.
