Frank J. Buldra's Obituary
Frank J. Buldra, 89, of Tavares, passed away on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010. He was born in Corning, NY on January 17th, 1921. He moved to Tavares in 1987. Frank was a retired postal clerk for the US Postal Service and a veteran of World War II and Korea, having served in the Army Air Corps and retiring from the Air Force as a Chief Warrant Officer. He enjoyed the hobbies of building model airplanes, ships and trains. Frank also loved his homeland of Czechoslovakia and played their native music on his accordion. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elva; daughter, Shelley Dail of Tavares; son, Frank Buldra II and his wife, Patricia of Watertown, NY; step-daughter, Judy Gayle Covington of Georgetown, KY, step-son, James Partain and his wife, Sylvia of Winter haven, FL, as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Frank will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who served his country well. Friends were invited to call for visitation on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 12:30 - 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service was held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
