He lived in the Dublin area until his 20’s and then lived in Washington, New Mexico, Idaho, West Virginia, and happily retired in Florida with his wife LuAnn. He worked for Suddenlink Cable until he retired. In retirement he spent a lot of time with the grandchildren and enjoyed the Florida sunshine, meeting new friends, and finding new activities to get involve with.
Frank, was a blessing from God and a blessing to us! He was a very loving and caring person. He was a man of few words, but he had a large impact on people. He was a very special and genuine person. He would help anybody that needed a helping hand. A typical act of kindness was rescuing a new born kitten to give to his aunt Joan in Walla Walla WA. He woke up every couple of hours to feed and care for the kitten for several days. Macy, the kitten is a blessing for her, thanks to Frank!
We will always carry his memory in our hearts!
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, LuAnn, his daughter Katharine (Brad) Smith, step sons John (Candice) Steele, Matt Steele, Patrick (Ashley) Steele, and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Linda Laforet of Livermore CA, Ken Davis of Portland OR, Mike McIntyre of San Jose CA, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Davis.
Frank never wanted to be the center of attention and per his wishes there will be no services. Those wishing to honor his life can make a donation in his name to the Cancer Society.
