Hugh and I have been truly blessed in our friendship with John and Frances. Always they were there for us. we laughed and we cried together but more important, we prayed together. Frances shared every Wednesday night with Debby and me and she taught us more about crafts than any other ten people could. We could count on John to keep our glasses filled with Coca Cola and make popcorn! I was fortunate enough to marry your "little" boy and immediately felt the extraordinary love this family has. We were blessed with four beautiful children she called her grandkids and they hit the grandma jackpot. Thanks for the amazing memories you have bestowed on my children. They will always remember your cookies, cheese potatoes and love. Thanks for being the amazing mom you were to my husband because without him I wouldn't have my kids. Frances was truly one of the kindest, gentlest, and most genuinely-good people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She adopted me as her grandson from the very moment it became clear that her daughter loved my father, and she never once left any doubt that my wife and I were family. This immediate acceptance and embracing of us always meant so much to me. Her smile always could be counted upon to light up the room, and I will always appreciate the love and warmth that she gave to me. She was the matriarch of a truly special family and there is no question that she will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her. Rest in peace, Grandma.
