Florence Ann Sykes' Obituary
Florence (Flo) Brown Sykes, of Ocoee, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 29, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Mae Brown, of Roan Mountain, Tennessee Flo was a graduate of Cloudland High School. She married Samuel J. (Jack) Sykes in January of 1953, in Elizabethton, Tennessee. They resided in Orlando, Florida. Her husband, her parents, and her sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Edward Cranor, preceded Florence in death. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands - Terri and Frank (Johnny) Johnson of Woodbridge, VA.; Debbie and Steve Larew of Oviedo, Florida, and Kathy and Charles (Chuck) Tompkins of Windermere, Florida; one sister and brother in-law, Linda and Bill Watson of Roan Mountain, Tennessee; seven grand children, seven great grandchildren, two nieces, and three nephews. Services will be at Glen Haven Cemetery, in Winter Park, Florida on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 4 PM.
