Florence Venus Felton's Obituary
Florence Venus Felton of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 80 years. She was born in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Miami in the early 1970’s and relocated to Mount Dora in 1992. Florence worked for many years as a dog groomer. However, her passion was in art and painting. Florence was a talented artist. She loved to paint. One of her last paintings was an angel. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. She collected and refinished antiques, learning the trade from the family business in New York.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosalie Elliott. Florence is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Alexxe DeMarco of Austin, Texas; brother, Hector Santemma and his wife, Tabitha of Florida; sister, Alexandra Bowling and her husband, Kirk of Goochland, Virginia; and her niece, Georgia Morton of Wilton Manors, Florida.
