Essie Walker's Obituary
Essie Walker 95, of Mount Dora, passed away on October 16, 2016. She was born in Manchester, Jamaica, moved to New York from Jamaica and moved here from New York in 2009. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. Essie was an entrepreneur with her own business and also worked as a nursing aid in New York. She is survived by her daughter Thelma Martin and her son-in-law Clifton Martin of Mount Dora, six grandchildren; Brian Martin, Paula Wheeler-Powell, Bunny Wheeler, Paul Wheeler, Milton Wheeler and Joan Harvey, Eight great grandchildren and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her son George Wheeler. A wake service will be held on Friday October 28, 2016 at 6:00PM at Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home located at; 326 East Orange Ave. Eustis, FL 32726. Funeral Service will follow on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 10:00AM at First Baptist Church, Mount Dora, FL located; at 1000 E 1st Ave, Mt Dora, FL 32757. Interment will directly follow the service on Saturday October 29, 2016 in Lakeside Memory Gardens, located at; 36601 C.R. 19-A North, Eustis, FL 32726.
