Elizabeth Joanne Eichelberger's Obituary
Elizabeth Joanne Eichelberger of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Monday January 16, 2023, at the age of 91. Joanne was born on January 25, 1931, to her parents Charles and Nellie Wheat in Sabetha, Kansas. In 1950, she married the love of her life Wilbur Eichelberger. In 1992 after retiring from manufacturing, she moved to Mount Dora. She is a member of the Community Chapel Church in Mount Dora, Florida. Her hobbies included embroidery, crocheting, and reading. She was also known for her love of baking sweets, especially cookies.
Joanne is predeceased by her parents Charles and Nellie Wheat.
Joanne is survived by her husband Wilbur Eichelberger of Mount Dora, Florida; daughter Lacretia (Al) Stewart of Mount Dora, Florida; along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Thursday January 19, 2023, from 10 AM- 12 PM, at the Hamlin and Hilbish Chapel. At 12 PM we will head to the Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora for a Graveside Service.
