M. Eletha Davis, age 86, of Umatilla passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born March 21, 1927 in Guilderland, NY and moved here in 1978. She was a legal secretary, a homemaker, and was a Baptist. She is survived by h Read Obituary
The years have flown by, but I know there are many whose memories, although they were made a long time ago, include those of this quiet, warm, patience, good-natured, and welcoming woman with such a beautiful smile. We are all sending her family so much love and gratitude for the good times, our memories, and these lasting friendships. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Letha's passing.She was a wonderful and loving woman. She quietly went her way through life with dignity and calm. She was a perfect role model for anyone one who was privileged to know her.

Words cannot express how you have touched my life Gram, from tying my shoes, taking me for purple ice cream and sharing a beer with me as an adult. The conversations we shared over the past few weeks will stay with me always. Now it is time for me to open my heart and put you along side "cramps". I will hold you there forever. I love you Gram.
Gram was the best! You all welcomed me so warmly into the family over 14 years ago. I love you all so much. I always looked forward to the Davis family reunions, and surely the next one we plan will be different and a little sad without Gram being there. She will definitely be there in spirit though, we all know that. She did such a wonderful job of raising 9 incredible kids and some grandchildren as well. She truly was the matriarch. We are so glad we got to spend time with her on Easter Sunday last spring. One memory that I will cherish forever is when she and I sat on her yard swing together that day and just talked. I felt like I was talking to my own grandma. Her little Christmas gifts every year were so sweet and thoughtful. I will think of Gram every time I wear the apron she made for me. :) Love you, Gram!
