Elainena Ann 'Layla' Copley's Obituary
Elainena Ann ‘Layla’ Copley of Eustis passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the age of 17. She was born in Orlando. Elainena attended Eustis High School. She was very involved in her school activities. She ran track, played softball and was on the Cheer squad. Layla was a mentor to students, standing up for them and helping whoever she was able to help. Elainena graduated last December due to her academic achievements and was scheduled to walk for graduation this month. She was incredibly talented. She was an actress and a model. She was on the tv show, The Outsiders Club, for several years and won a Florida State Emmy award for her acting. She also appeared in a couple of tv commercials including one for Universal. She was a creative artist and loved to paint. She enjoyed photography, especially selfies and loved spending time on Tik Tok. Elainena worked at Cracker Barrel in Leesburg. She had many friends that she loved dearly. Her vibrant smile and heart of gold will be missed by all who knew her.
Elainena is remembered by her mother and stepfather, Wanda Senay and Jason Cichon of Eustis; her father and step-mother, Kenneth and Polly Copley of Apopka; sister, Selena Duffy of Eustis; brothers, Christopher Copley of Mount Plymouth, Daniel Copley of Apopka, Kyle Copley and Caleb Duffy of Eustis; Joshua Antley, GA and her stepbrother, Aiden Chicon of Eustis.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 4 from 4:00 -5:00 PM with a Memorial Ceremony starting at 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Umatilla. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
