Edward M. Bruzelius' Obituary
Edward M. Bruzelius, 99, of Mount Dora passed away on Wednesday May 5, 2010. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas and moved here from Kissimmee in 1979. Mr. Bruzelius was a retired mechanical engineer for Standard Oil Company, a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War having served as a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy, a Mason and a member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife Berniece Rodenbeck Bruzelius in 2002 and his son Paul E. Bruzelius in 2009. Mr. Bruzelius is survived by his daughters; Carol A. Jones of Mount Dora and Joy B. Winer of Leicester, North Carolina, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Memorial services were held in the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis on Saturday May 15, 2010. Those desiring may direct memorials to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road Tavares, FL 32778.
