Edith Pearl DeVaughn's Obituary
Edith Pearl Harter DeVaughn, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Standardsville, Virginia on April 1, 1931. She moved to Florida in the late 1960s, where she lived off and on until her passing. She will be remembered for her vivacious personality, generous social nature and her love of flowers, gardening and fashion. She will be dearly missed by her three daughters and their spouses: Linda Sue Freeland and husband Mike, Drinda Jacobson and husband Bill and Trisha Wightman and husband Allen. Her children, along with her 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, look forward to their reunion when Jesus comes and they will all live together for eternity. A memorial will be held at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home Chapel (www.hamlinhilbish.com), in Eustis FL, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 2pm.
The final resting place will be National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia.
