Earl F. Rust's Obituary
Mr. Earl F. Rust of Eustis, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 86 years. He was born in Georgetown, Delaware to Earl and Edna Rust. He proudly served his country in the US Army in World War II, serving in the Black Panther Division in Europe. Earl and his wife, Louise, moved to Eustis from Niagara Falls, New York in 1982. He retired from Dupont after 32 ½ years of service working as a civil engineer. While living mostly in Wilmington, Delaware, he and his family traveled extensively during his career building and remodeling factories for Dupont. Earl was a Christian and was a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), the Civil Engineers Society and the American Legion in Georgetown. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Louise Betty Rust; sons, Earl Donald Rust of Columbia, South Carolina and Ron Rust and his wife, Mims Cave of Columbia; brother, Donald G. Rust of Lewis, Delaware and grandchildren, Angie, Chris, Jason, Cooper and Brie. A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 10:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis.
