Dutch Sherfield's Obituary
Dutch Sherfield 73, of Mid Florida Lakes, Leesburg, passed away on February 16, 2013. He was born in Dexter, Missouri in 1939. After years of Military Service, he moved to Florida in 1989. Dutch was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Navy, having served for 30 years. He later worked with the Lake County Fire Department for 15 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and cheering for his St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia; with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Also surviving are his daughters; Sally Raistrick of Nashville, Tennessee, Amy Griner of Leesburg and Betsy (Peter) Bersani of Albany, New York. Grandpa loved his grandchildren; Christopher “Jake” Raistrick, Tami (Brent) Lacy, Zach “Six Pack” Bersani, John Griner, Anna Bersani, Andi Griner and Mackenzie Bersani. Dutch loved his family and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held in Lakeside Memory Gardens on Thursday, February 21st at 11 AM.
