Donald Roth's Obituary
Donald Roth, Eustis, Florida, went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 8, 2019 at his residence in Eustis under the loving care of his family. Donald was born on June 28, 1917 in Cincinnati, Ohio to his parents Nicholas Roth and Florence Lenore (Hofmann) Roth. A graduate of Atlanta Christian College (now Point University), he was a former Christian minister and mission worker who had last served in Hawaii at Sunset Beach Christian Church and School. His family moved to Eustis in 1923 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Donald graduated from Eustis High School in 1935. He inherited his carpentry ability from his father who was a local builder in Lake County. He devoted his whole life to his Lord and Savior and never missed an opportunity to share the Gospel to those he would meet. He was a proud member of the Eustis Historical Society and a member of Lake Eustis Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years: Jo Roth of Eustis, FL; a daughter: Constance Nichols and her husband Reuben of Eustis, FL; a son: Donald Roth, Jr. of Hawaii; a brother: Nick Roth of Gainesville, FL; a sister: Dorothy Crook of Troy, OH; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Lake Eustis Christian Church in loving memory of Donald Roth. Arrangements are entrusted to Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors Eustis, Florida.
