Donald R. McNish Jr.'s Obituary
Donald R. McNish Jr. 68, of Tallahassee, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born in Chardon, Ohio and moved to Tallahassee in 2007 from Eustis. He graduated from Eustis High School in 1968 and from Florida State University, he was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army. Donald was Protestant and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity he worked for Florida State University as a grounds keeper and had retired earlier this year. He will be greatly missed by his siblings; Kathleen "Kathy" Dawson and her husband Michael of Eustis, Maureen Meslang and her husband Richard of Bainbridge Island, Washington, David McNish and his wife Bobbye of Marietta, Georgia and Diane Squire and her husband Ed of Eustis. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Sunday, May 7th from 2 until 4 PM, prayers and comments will began at 2:30 PM. Committal with Military Honors will follow in Florida National Cemetery on Monday May 8th at 10:30 AM.
