Donald Stanley Heaney's Obituary
Capt. Donald Stanley Heaney U.S.A.F. (Ret) passed away on March 8, 2013. He was born in Easton, Pennsylvania and moved to this area in 1983 from Pensacola. He was a retired Senior Resident Vice President for Merrill Lynch; he was a Mason for over 57 years and a member of Brevard Lodge #113 of Cocoa, Florida, he also was an owner of Heavenly Ham of Eustis and Mid Florida Marble of Tavares. Don was Methodist. He is survived by his wife Gayle; they were married for 62 years. Also surviving are his children; Michelle C. Phillips of Leesburg, Michael Heaney of Eustis and Diane Post-Richardson of Tavares, grandchildren, Donald T. Post of Tampa, Andrew Heaney of Eustis and Matthew Richardson of Tavares and one great granddaughter Isabelle Heaney. Memorial services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, March 16th at 2 PM, the family will gather with friends after the service. The final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to your favorite charity.
