That Don was one wonderful guy.Better man than I'll ever be! He surely loved life and he would have been happy enough to keep right on going. He loved people too.Especially his daughter, Donna. If he hated someone, I never heard about it.He could do awesome miracles with home improvement. When he renovated the inside of his eustis residence, I was awestruck at the professionalism of the work.I enjoyed working with him on many projects. Then there was the Four o'clock beer in the workshed with the Barber chair and all the stories. My favorite story was when he was a school bus driver in Iowa [or maybe Nebraska] He drove up to the residence the kids were never ready to catch the bus on time.In fact, according to Don, they would not even begin to get ready UNTIL the school bus arrived So he told them- Be ready when I arrive next time. Well, those who know him could finish this story for me, but for those do not....well when the bus arrived next school day the laxidasical students were still not ready in time,so Don the bus driver waited 2.3 seconds and drove off without them. This did not go over well with school administration. It's all about respect and Don stood his ground. When the bus arrived at that particular house thereafter, the would-be passengers were all lined up and ready to go.We love you Don!##imported-begin##Bob Hollins##imported-end##
