Detzel D. Lovejoy's Obituary
Detzel D. Lovejoy, 72, of Mount Dora, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Born in Palermo, West Virginia, he was a volunteer instructor at Camp La-No-Che Boy Scout Reservation, a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margerine; his daughter Pamela Selby of Eustis; two grandsons, one great grandchild, two brothers and one sister. Friends gathered on Sunday, August 15 from 3-5 PM and also on Monday, August 16 from 5 - 7 PM in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Eustis. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10 AM in the Chapel. Interment followed in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.The family requests those desiring send donations may be sent to Camp La-No-Che.
