Lea Richey
Dennis was my first-cousin once removed on my maternal side. His father, Harvey was my Grandmother Hester’s brother. My mother, Ernestine Gibson, was Dennis’ first cousin. We saw each other at Funkhouser reunions when I was a child. My parents moved to the St. Louis area when I was twelve, and I didn’t see him after that. I loved my Funkhouser cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles. I saw Dennis’ brother Ryan at my mother’s celebration of life in Terre Haute in June 2011. My condolences to Dennis’ family.
