David Edgar "Ed" Witt's Obituary
David Edgar "Ed" Witt 81, of Eustis, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born in Astatula and was retired from the United States Army National Guard. He is survived by his children; Johnny Witt and his wife, Janet Ann, of Edison, Georgia and Elizabeth "Beth" L. Johns and her husband Ronald of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Mr. Witt was predeceased by his son Timothy in 2016, also surviving are seven grandchildren; Stephanie Thompson of Gainesville, Florida, Jennifer Witt of Eustis, Florida, Steven Janis of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kimberly Witt of Leesburg, Florida, David Witt of Mount Dora, Florida, Donald Witt of Leesburg, Florida and Megan Carlton of Hawaii and 16 1/2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, April 22nd from 11 until Noon. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Noon. Rev. Brooks Braswell will officiate. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Please leave a condolence or memory on this site.
