David H. Williams' Obituary
David H. Williams 83, of Eustis, passed away on February 10, 2015. Dave was born in Birmingham, Michigan. He lived and worked in Toronto, Canada for 25 years before moving to Stuart, Florida in 1983. Dave moved to Eustis from West Palm Beach in 2000. Dave graduated from the University of Michigan with a Civil Engineer degree. Dave worked in a number of industries throughout the years but enjoyed his time working for the Palm Beach County School Board. Following his retirement, Dave volunteered for multiple organizations. He was a volunteer and a member of the Eustis Sailing Club for 13 years. During his time at the Eustis Sailing Club, Dave served as their PRO, Principal Race Officer and was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year in 2004.
He is survived by his wife Joan, they were married for 37 years. Also surviving are his children; Donna (Paul Gordon) Williams of Los Angeles, California, Raymond (Debbie) Carr of Sutton, Canada, Diane Williams, Diane (Clarence) White of Toronto, Canada, Jeffrey Carr of Keswick, Canada, Jay Williams of Peterborough, Canada, Glenn (Christine) Carr of Baldwin, Canada, John Williams of Toronto, Canada and Stewart (Joy) Carr of Flowery Branch, Georgia and seven grandchildren.
A Gathering will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, February 28th from 1 until 3 PM. There will be a time of remembrance at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to a favorite charity.
